Tuolomne Meadows, Yosemite
We've gone to Yosemite together every year these past 6 years, and this was our first time that we finally were able to go up the "back way"! (up the 120). It is definitely worth going that route, just make sure it's open since they close down that route multiple times a year due to weather!
Acadia, Maine
Joshua Tree, California
Joshua Tree was the first place we went camping together 5 years ago, being only 2 hours from us in LA, it was always perfect for last minute camping trips, or even just a day trip. It's a jungle gym made of rocks, and we're happy to run around it for days.
This trip that we took here was a little different than others.. We left pretty late in the evening to drive home, and once we arrived, we noticed that our camera bag was missing. The only conclusion was that we left it in the middle of the desert. So we jumped back in the car to make the trek back. Staying positive, we just sang & made up songs the whole way. When we arrived at 3am, it was dark & cloudy, everything looked the same. We waited a few hours until sunrise (which was awesome..too bad we didn't have a camera to photograph it..), and the search began. We ended up finding it not too far off the road, hooray!
Oregon Coast
We spent a few days exploring the coast of Oregon.
Misty Morning, Point Reyes
We spend an early morning in Point Reyes with our younger brother, Austin. Between the rolling hills, tunnel of trees, abandoned ship & the ocean, it was pretty sweet.
Sunrise Salt Flats, Southern California
It seems like our favorite places always end up being the ones that we didn't plan on visiting. We were driving with some friends, and the sun was about to peak. The closest "cool" thing near us were the Salt Flats, and we're pretty glad they were. This was the first time we saw salt flats in person, and it gave all of us a child-like excitement.
