This place is surreal! We've known for many years that we wanted to visit here, and we're so grateful that we did. We stayed in town for a few days, and spent many many hours getting lost & jumping along the dune ridges.
We've gone to Yosemite together every year these past 6 years, and this was our first time that we finally were able to go up the "back way"! (up the 120). It is definitely worth going that route, just make sure it's open since they close down that route multiple times a year due to weather!
We usually cover many miles in one day, and the best advice we've gotten was to just enjoy it. Seriously, stop every time you have the urge. So, we saw this cool road while just passing through Iowa & that's what we did. It was a relaxing day with no expectations, and those always seem to be the best.
We spent a few days exploring the coast of Oregon.
We spend an early morning in Point Reyes with our younger brother, Austin. Between the rolling hills, tunnel of trees, abandoned ship & the ocean, it was pretty sweet.
