B+W roadtrip
Hereβs some nature details from living on the road. 2 years ago, I packed my life into a truck to hit the road for a year. Driving 100,000 miles, flying on dozens of planes, sleeping in 44 different states, 3 countries, in a rooftop tent, truck bed, front seats, hammocks, airbnb's & sketchy hotels, it was sweet. <3

This spring we traveled up to Alberta, Canada for a couple sessions, while there we hiked around the Athabasca Glacier. We had never been in weather this cold before, so we wore as many layers as possible in attempt to shield from the wind. The first time we tried getting to the glacier, the road was closed for hours due to the controlled avalanches. We ended up visiting 2 other times that week since we really enjoy this setting. After finding the ice cave hidden under mounds of snow, we spent hours admiring the deep blues & resting where the cave would block the wind from freezing our faces.

This place is surreal! We've known for many years that we wanted to visit here, and we're so grateful that we did. We stayed in town for a few days, and spent many many hours getting lost & jumping along the dune ridges.

New York City
Spend autumn in New York, check.
NYC Evening
We spent a good 5 days & nights in this city. Most of the evenings were enjoyed by walking across bridges & ordering too many pizza-by-the-slices. Also, having a car & a dog with us in NYC was much easier than we anticipated.
Autumn in the State of New York
We spent over a week driving all around the state of New York before heading to the city. It was wet, cold & awesome. We heard from many locals on how lucky we were for the βwarmβ weather. We are pretty happy that it wasnβt as cold as it had been the year prior. Weβve never seen so many autumn trees and waves of color. From the Great Lakes, to the Finger lakes, to Hudson River, we were pretty hyped on all the unexpected things New York State has. One of our favorite spots was the Taugannock State park & the trail down to the falls.
